A Haiku on the Occasion of my 29th Birthday

Turning twenty-nine
I feel completely unchanged
How uncompelling

OK, that stinks. I'll try again ...

As the years roll by
I can't help but wonder if
I'll ever grow up

Wow. Perhaps you, the reader, can find something deep in those. Come on, try harder.

  • Hey!
Happy birthday, hoping man! When I got home from work last night and realized that with the time difference it would now have been too late to call you, I was kicking myself, feeling all remorseful and the like. But now it strikes me how much better it will be for me to send your birthday greetings through the world of Blog. You get birthday wishes and blog discussion all rolled into one! So, glad to hear that you had a fabulous birthday eve and fantastic birthday. Hope your birthday boxing day is even better still!

    Love ya!
    Deborah

Oh, and by the way, loved the haikus!

  • A little ditty

    Nearing the thirty
    mark I'm happy you'll always
    be older than me

It's terrible, but it's all you'll get on the Thursday afternoon when I should be working

    Richard
